We would like to enlist your support for the 16th Annual Cherry Creek Diversity Conference, taking place on Saturday, January 31, 2008. All Colorado high school students are invited to attend this day-long conference where they will hear from a keynote speaker, participate in discussion groups with other Colorado students, attend two workshops of their choice, and meet with their respective schools to discuss incorporating what they've learned into their school environment.

At its inception in 1993, eighteen schools gathered for what has now grown into the largest diversity conference in the state of Colorado. Last year we were pleased to have 80 schools and organizations participating, with a total attendance over 1,000.

We have a proud and strong track record of successfully engaging students and adults on diversity topics for over 15 years, as born out in our evaluations. We are happy to provide more information on the effect of the conference to any interested potential funder.

Match Your Resources to Our Needs
Our conference operates on a shoestring budget in an effort to keep the costs of participating schools to a minimum. We are looking for support in the form of both monetary contributions, in-kind donations, and volunteers. Please note that while we are not a 501(c)(3) organization, contributions to the conference are deductible for income tax purposes. Please see our certification of 501(c)(c) status for more information.
