The conference offers multiple ways for funders to become involved, whether for a specific purpose or to support its cause in general. The conference also welcomes in-kind donations if you or your company prefer to not donate money.

Keynote Speaker
Each year our executive committee works hard to identify and invite a notable public speaker to address the conference during opening ceremonies. In 2008, the conference was addressed by María Guajardo, Executive Director of the Mayor’s Office for Education and Children in Denver. The conference is seeking a Gold Sponsor to fund the speaking fees of a keynote speaker. In addition to the standard Gold Sponsor benefits listed to the right, the funder will be named during the speaker’s introduction at opening ceremonies and given an opportunity to talk with the speaker afterwards.

Lunch
While many food items are included in our in-kind donations list, the conference is seeking a Gold Sponsor to fund the purchase of deli lunches for conference attendees.

Deaf Interpreters
Funding for interpreters throughout the day poses a great challenge to our shoestring budget. The conference is seeking a Gold Sponsor to fund the use of deaf interpreters at the conference. In addition to the Silver Sponsor benefits listed to the right, the funder will be given the opportunity to meet with the deaf students at the conference.

Website
The conference is seeking a Gold Sponsor to fund the operation and maintenance of the conference website. In addition to the standard Gold Sponsor benefits listed to the right, the funder will be featured on the website homepage and mentioned at the opening ceremonies of the conference.

Closing Ceremonies Performer
The conference is seeking a Silver Sponsor to fund the fees of our closing ceremonies performer. In addition to the standard Silver Sponsor benefits listed to the right, the funder will be named during the performer’s introduction at closing ceremonies and given an opportunity to talk with the performer or group afterwards.

Human Rights Award
The conference is seeking a Silver Sponsor to fund the Human Rights Award, awarded to one person or organization in the community for their work with young people. In addition to the standard Silver Sponsor benefits listed to the right, the funder will be named during the Award ceremony and in the program as the sponsor of the award.

Diversity Buttons
The conference is seeking a Bronze Sponsor to fund the purchase of buttons featuring diversity-related messages, one of which is handed out to every participant.

Other Donations
The conference welcomes donations that do not go toward a specific purpose. Additionally, if you are interested in funding a specific aspect of the conference not mentioned here, please do not hesitate to contact us.
