Executive Committee print this page
One of the conference's most unique aspects is the Executive Committee, a team of some sixty students and adults who plan the conference in its entirety. While the conference's goals do not change year to year, every other detail is planned by this group of dedicated volunteers.
Membership is Open to Everyone
The committee is open to all high school students, faculty advisors, and interested members of the public. While it certainly is not required that each organization send a representative, we're happy to have anyone who can dedicate an hour and a half each week.Regular attendance at the meetings is required, so please consider the time commitment before agreeing to participate.
If you are a teacher or community organizer, download a flyer to hang up or hand out to interested students.
Meeting Location and Time
All Executive Committee meetings take place on Monday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at Cherry Creek High School. All meetings take place in the East building, room 318-320. If you are new to the committee, make sure to print directions before the first meeting, which takes place on Monday, September 15.
Executive Committee Officers
Interested in a leadership role? After registering for the Executive Committee, check out the officer job descriptions and apply before September 22!
Long-Distance Participation
For interested students and adults who live too far from Denver to come regularly to Executive Committee meetings, please visit the Resources and Forum section of this website and provide suggestions and ideas! We check this forum often and will attempt to respond to all postings.
